Friday Evening – April 10, 2009 (The Crucifixion)
The evening service started at 06:00 PM. Again there was the song service and song specials.

Bro Collins

Bro Collins continued the series with The Crucifixion. He took his text as a continuation in St John. Bro Collins described the events of the time in detail and also drew attention to the executioners’ job at the time when crucifixions were practiced. He dramatized the manner in which crosses were erected.

The Congregation

Also the people’s attention was drawn to what happened in the physical realm when the Lord died, with earthquakes and in the religious realm, with the renting of the veil in the temple.

After the service, Bro Collins did a Mark 16 prayer line. Approximately 8 brothers were asked to form the line to provide the hands to be laid on. Almost the whole congregation that had assembled together moved through the line, holding their need in their heart before the Lord.
