As I write now, my left eye is so blurred and afflicted that I can hardly see with it. It happened by mistake I applied medicine to cure a wart on the left eye lid and that led to the eye getting a burn on contact with the medicine. It has been more than 3 months now and the scar on the cornea is still there and threatening to get worse every passing day. An eye doctor has given me up and referred me to other ones in Johannesburg for a laser surgery to remove the scar. Any kind of medicine does not remove a scar on the cornea of an eye, they say; and time itself does not help either; its kind of permanent injury. I have been applying the medicines from the Dr to stop inflamation and dryness of the eye continuously but its only temporary. Laser surgery is man-made and highly dangerous and could lead to severe side-effects; so I don't want it at all. I say if surgery could remove the scar, Jesus Christ can do that even better; and I shall not be moved on that stance. The other eye is perfectly normal which may call for balancing of sight between the two by buying lenses perhaps, but I am still hesitant to go for them since what I need is complete healing and restoration of my eye, which lenses don't do. Fortunately, my prayer life and listening to God's voice has been invigorated ever since I landed myself into this affliction. I am due for a review with a specialist in mid-July and I don't want any trouble there. So kindly help me overcome the awful situation through prayer and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. I used to get nervious, fearful and worrisome when I came face to face with the truth of the matter, but I have since recovered and started getting stronger in faith. Dear Saints, I'm writing from Monrovia, Liberia; believer of the evening light message. A precious brother from our assembly has been seriously sick since July of this year up to present. Br. Andrew Mulbah,was operated on in August of this year, with out no result. his parents has taken him from one native doctor to another without no result, from one church to another with out result. Pastor of our assembly of which br. Andrew is a member suggested to the family, to turn br. Andrew over to the church for the saints of God to gather and pray for him. After his family met over one ago, they have finally decided to turn Br, Andrew over to the churrch. My brother who was admitted at a mental institution on March 28th has been discharged from that hospital. We had noticed his strange behaviour when he became less interested in his studies and failed all his subjects. He would sleep the whole day and be awake till 3am. We took him to the police as he beat up mother for no apparent reason. He gave the police strange answers like, "My mother is jealous of me and she is a snake." or "I will kill you with all the stones in front of the house," and so forth. ...He was diagnosed with schizophrenia! Although the doctor claims there is no cure for this illness, he was given a daily medication and released to carry on with his normal day to day life! He does not abide by the doctor's rules in taking the medicine, but I challenge that situation in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, because I initially believed for his condition and he returned home! ...I ask for prayers about his life, that he can be saved. Dear Brethren,
Greetings to you in His Precious Name. I hope you might be knowing the situation of Orissa. Orissa is in tense. One of our believers' house is burnt till so far in Kandhmal Dist. I am also been given threatening for killing. No one can pray loudly anywhere. One of our village prayer house in Naikensira village near Bolangir which is been built very recently and planned for inauguration in October. But yesterday the local brother, who has given his land, informed that they (Anti Christian Movement people) have been given threatening for burning the Prayer House. Every places are in tension. Specially the village area. Anti People are cutting trees and blocking the road. Police force can't go inside. Likewise they are doing the nuisance. Specially their target is to kill the missionaries, pastors, evangelists etc.
So far the updates today I have been informed is that another brother's house with others have been burnt or may be broken in Jeerango in Gajapati District. This village is fully of Baptists. God used me there in 1982 and I baptized about 40 people including the church leaders. But they left one by one due to threatening of the local Christian community. Only one brother P K Swalsing and his family did not left the Truth and still in faith. One family believing the Message in that region. About eight villages are totally burnt of that area. This brother may be hiding somewhere with his family and sick palsy wife. We can't get in touch over phone. May be they are out of the village and hiding somewhere as well as others.
You are requested to pray seriously for the bride of Orissa. Our Govt. is also not supportive. Rest is with the Lord. Not only that but the others of Kandhmal area are also hiding in jungles without food and water as per today's news. That is very pathetic.

without food for days living on greens. We try to
share as God provides,but the burden is big as food
prices has shot high. The children are the most
affected.
Rain has started falling and it's the busiest time for
the farmers; a planting season,yet many times have to
go to the gardens with empty bellies.
