Three years back we had a radio program. And in that period of time that we preached on radio, a number of churches were opened and many believed on the Lord.Then we ran out of funds. And our prayer request is for God to provide funds and we re-start that arrangement. Many false voices are on the air, and our sincere desire is to sound the true Voice of God for this day as a Witness amidst those false voices and to hunt for the last elect. Dear Brethren,
Greetings to you in His Precious Name. I hope you might be knowing the situation of Orissa. Orissa is in tense. One of our believers' house is burnt till so far in Kandhmal Dist. I am also been given threatening for killing. No one can pray loudly anywhere. One of our village prayer house in Naikensira village near Bolangir which is been built very recently and planned for inauguration in October. But yesterday the local brother, who has given his land, informed that they (Anti Christian Movement people) have been given threatening for burning the Prayer House. Every places are in tension. Specially the village area. Anti People are cutting trees and blocking the road. Police force can't go inside. Likewise they are doing the nuisance. Specially their target is to kill the missionaries, pastors, evangelists etc.
So far the updates today I have been informed is that another brother's house with others have been burnt or may be broken in Jeerango in Gajapati District. This village is fully of Baptists. God used me there in 1982 and I baptized about 40 people including the church leaders. But they left one by one due to threatening of the local Christian community. Only one brother P K Swalsing and his family did not left the Truth and still in faith. One family believing the Message in that region. About eight villages are totally burnt of that area. This brother may be hiding somewhere with his family and sick palsy wife. We can't get in touch over phone. May be they are out of the village and hiding somewhere as well as others.
You are requested to pray seriously for the bride of Orissa. Our Govt. is also not supportive. Rest is with the Lord. Not only that but the others of Kandhmal area are also hiding in jungles without food and water as per today's news. That is very pathetic.

Pray with us as some of our dear brethren in our area are having it hard because of famine. Some families go without food for days living on greens. We try to share as God provides,but the burden is big as food prices has shot high. The children are the most affected.
Rain has started falling and it's the busiest time for the farmers; a planting season,yet many times have to go to the gardens with empty bellies.
You brothers pray for the affected people for God's grace to see them through up to July.(submitted 4/21/2008)
